- Cornell Institute for Social and Economic ResearchCISER assists Cornell affiliates with empirical social and economic research projects. CISER provides computing systems support, software consulting, access to data sets and consulting, workshops, and other training.
- Cornell University Statistical DatabasesCornell University Library offers many statistical resources and raw data sets.
- ICPSRICPSR, the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research, is a consortium of roughly 700 universities from around the world that provides training and standards for data access, analysis, and preservation in the social sciences. ICPSR provides free access to more than 500,000 social science datasets. ICPSR Direct allows Cornellians to download data directly from links in the ICPSR catalog of holdings after they provide name, Cornell affiliation, department, and e-mail address. After registering, you may obtain data by entering your e-mail address and using a Cornell IP address. Access to off-campus Cornell users is provided by the Cornell University Find Databases function.
