- African American Newspapers, The Nineteenth Century. Seven newspapers written by and for African-Americans, published between 1827 and 1902.
- The Civil War, A Newspaper Perspective. Three newspapers with three different perspectives on the war: The Charleston (SC) Mercury, The New York Herald, and The Richmond (VA) Enquirer. Over 11,000 articles from 2500 issues published between November 1, 1860 and April 30, 1865.
- Pennsylvania Gazette. Transcribed articles that appeared in this newspaper from 1728 to 1783. The Gazette was published by Benjamin Franklin in Philadelphia.
