Papers from the Foreign Colonial Offices, focused on Central and South America and the French and Spanish-Speaking Caribbean. Content includes slavery and the slave trade, immigration, Indigenous relations, territorial disputes and armed conflict, financial and business interests, building of the Panama Canal, and the rise of populist rulers in the region.

Ticha seeks to make this corpus of Colonial Zapotec texts accessible to scholars in diverse fields, Zapotec community members, and the general public.
