SEC filings
- EDGARAll companies regulated by the SEC, both foreign and domestic, are required to file registration statements, periodic reports, and other forms electronically through EDGAR. Anyone can access and download this information for free. Here you'll find links to a complete list of filings available through EDGAR and instructions for searching the EDGAR database (for help, select "Quick EDGAR Tutorial").
You may prefer searching filings using one of the databases below.

- Bloomberg Law Securities Practice CenterSelect "EDGAR Advanced Search" under Featured Tools.
- Lexis+ : Search All SEC FilingsType search terms in the search bar, or first filter by content type or form type.
- Capital IQFirst, see registration instructions in the linked page to set up your account.
On Capital IQ, look up a company and then see the menu on the left, under News, Events, and Filings. Filings are presented in reverse chronological order. The user has the option to organize by form type.
Company information
- FactivaAccess thousands of publications, including daily newspapers, magazines, journals, newswires, and trade publications. Obtain company and industry profiles, and charting options.
- Lexis+ : Company and FinancialIncludes company profiles, industry analyst reports, mergers and acquisitions/donations, and SEC filings.
- Lexis ContextAnalyzes companies using language analytics.
- Bloomberg LawBloomberg Law has extensive company profiles. These are accessed by simply typing the company name into the main search bar.
- Business Source CompleteCoverage includes virtually all subject areas related to business, including articles and SWOT Reports. This database provides full text (PDF) for top scholarly journals dating as far back as 1922.
- OrbisOrbis (from Bureau van Dijk) is a financial database that covers more than 310 million companies worldwide. Orbis provides company profiles, news and deals, corporate ownership, and more. One of the strengths of Orbis is its coverage of private companies.
- Law360Provides significant news coverage for companies that can be filtered by topic and law firm.
- Capital IQCapital IQ is a massive database with significant company coverage, including profiles, financial information, mergers and acquisitions information, transactional information, profiles of executives, and more.
