Library Resources for Teaching:
Online Library Guides:
Online library guides are a great way to curate and showcase research resources available to students for your class, whether they are found in the library or elsewhere. Your Library Liaison will be happy to work with you to create a guide designed specifically for your course and assignments.
Here is a list of current guides to give you an idea of what guides can do for you and your students. Guides can cover a subject, course, or topic and support your student's remote learning experience by managing the research resources you would like your students to use for your course or assignment.
Canvas Integration:
Once the guide has been created, it can be directly embedded into your Canvas course site for easy access for your students. In order to embed the guide, you will need to add a link to the navigation in your Canvas site. Here are instructions for how you can embed the online library guides into your course. Please be sure to work with your library liaison if you have any questions.
Library Tutorials:
The library has created many tutorials that can be accessed online and cover topics ranging from how to use the library homepage, create good search terms, use tertiary resources, and information about passkey.
