Carto is a web-based platform for mapping and GIS analysis. It can be used to host interactive maps that you can share online, or even embed into a webpage, like this map of the 2012 campus tree inventory:

You can create a free Cornell-affiliated Carto account by signing up with your Cornell e-mail address at:
Cornell users can set up private data tables and maps where you can control access to (or just make them public), and you can also sync data from sources like Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box. Cornell user accounts will be allocated 100MB of storage. If you run out of space and need more storage, please contact kgj2@cornell.edu.
