Use Articles & Full Text to access articles you have seen cited somewhere; enter keywords from the article title and the author's last name. You can also use Articles & Full Text to discover articles (that is, to find citations for articles that you don't yet know about), in addition to using music-specific databases such as Oxford Music Online, RILM Abstracts of Music Literature, and Music Index Online. Use the Library Catalog to search for books, documentary films, audio and video recordings, and more. See the Search Tips to learn more. Also see Music: A Guide to Library Resources and Research for more detailed catalog search tips.

In the Library Catalog, you can use the basic search, set to All Fields, to enter keywords of various types (author, subject, etc.), such as Gamelan. Use the facets to limit your search results to books or video, online or at the library, items in English, etc.
