Make a simple map using Data.Census.gov
- To see an exact value of the variable, click on the select button, then click on the map.
- Most datasets will have multiple variables. Click on the top left side drop-down menu to specify which variable from the dataset gets mapped.
- Click on the top right side menu to select the geographic level for the map.
- Click on "Customize Map" to customize the color palatte, the number of "data classes", and the number ranges for the legend.
- Most census datasets will have a mapping option available.
