The TodoSomos Project
"Todosomos" is a U.S.-based NGO registered in Colombia which works to compile first-person written accounts by Venezuelan refugees. A selection of these testimonials are archived and preserved in Cornell University Library's Rare and Manuscript Collections. The accounts chronicle the experiences of individuals, families, and others who are a part of the ongoing exodus from Venezuela. Ideally, this project will generate greater awareness of Venezuela's refugee crisis among the international community and inspire increased support for those affected. Importantly, the Todosomos archive narrative is told directly from the perspective of refugees and migrants from the Venezuelan diaspora, centering their voices and experiences.
The goal of the Todosomos archive is to create an open resource, available to journalists, aid agencies, donors, researchers, government officials, and the public. Published portions of the archive will ultimately be made available in bilingual physical and digital publications.
