Cambodia under the Khmer Rouge, 1975-79
In 1975, the Khmer Rouge takeover of Cambodia unleashed the killing during the next four years of close to two million Cambodians. Collaboration between USC Shoah Foundation and the Documentation Center of Cambodia (DC-Cam) on preservation of eyewitness testimony commenced in 2009 and has led to adaptation by DC-CAM of interview techniques developed for the Visual History Archive.
