Search the Library Catalog to find books and ebooks in our collections. You may enter whatever words you think describe your topic, but using the Library of Congress subject headings (LCSH) can also be useful. For example:

American poetry > Hispanic American authors - LCSH search

Hispanic Americans > poetry - LCSH search

American literature > Hispanic American authors - LCSH search

Alvarez, Julia - LCSH browse

Espada, Martin - LCSH browse

Limón, Ada - Author browse

Blanco, Richard 1968- - Author search

Note that academic books may not yet be available for younger or less established poets. Reviews and articles about their work is more likely to be published in journals.

Land Acknowledgment

Cornell University is located on the traditional homelands of the Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' (the Cayuga Nation). The Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' are members of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an alliance of six sovereign Nations with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. The Confederacy precedes the establishment of Cornell University, New York state, and the United States of America. We acknowledge the painful history of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' dispossession, and honor the ongoing connection of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' people, past and present, to these lands and waters.
