Faculty Development in Education Collection

The Veterinary Library maintains a Faculty Development in Education Collection for CVM instructor use. The print copies can be found in proximity to the Basom Pleasure Reading Collection located to the left of the first-floor library entrance. Several of the titles in this collection, in addition to various other teaching/learning resources, are accessible electronically through the library catalog. All new faculty are encouraged to read Make it Stick: The Science of Successful Learning (see "Recommended Reading" below), which presents proven approaches to teaching and provides a shared vocabulary for Cornell faculty involved in team taught courses. This title can be found both in print in the library and digitally.

The titles in this collection have been broken out into categories for this guide, browse through each page to or go directly towards the topic that feels most relevant to your needs.

The books presented in this guide are only a fraction of the teaching/learning resources available to you.  Additional resources can be found digitally or borrowed in print from other campus libraries.  For help with searching the library catalog, requesting a book, or digital access to eBooks please contact vetref@cornell.edu.
