Using Databases to Find Articles
Library databases provide an efficient way to locate journal articles on entomology related topics. Not all databases have the same interface, but almost all use some kind of search box and have tools that help limit your search.
Many of the articles you find using a database will be available to you in full-text (often as a PDF). Sometimes you will need to click on the

- CAB AbstractsCAB Abstracts covers the significant research and development literature in entomology as well as related fields, such as crop science and grasslands, environmental science, organic and sustainable agriculture, parasitology, plant pathology, and more.

- Web of ScienceWeb of Science - All Databases indexes core journal articles, conference proceedings, data sets, and other resources in the sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities.
- Wildlife & Ecology Studies WorldwideIndex to scientific and management literature on wild mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians from journals, conference proceedings, theses, dissertations and other publications.
