Collection Building
I manage the library's subscriptions for journals and books with vendors and publisher. I talk to professor and students to see what books they are requesting, and make sure the library orders what they need to do their research and learn in their classes.
I serve on committees and meet with other librarians to coordinate our work, learn from each other, and start new services.
