How to find Maps in the Olin Collection through the Library Catalog
You can start your search from the main library home page by clicking on the drop down for "catalog". You can put in a term to search withing the catalog. Remember, this will be a keyword search (it will search the entire catalog record.
On the catalog search results screen you will have several options. You can change the search from Keyword to other types of searches. And you can also limit the results by Access and Format using the facets on the left-hand side of the page. Clicking the "At the Library" and Map will focus your search on the Map Collection in Olin Library.
If you find an item you are interested in viewing you can request a visit to the Map Collection to view the map in person, or request a scan of the map by emailing Olinmaps@cornell.edu. You can also request a scan by clicking the "Request Scan of Article/Chapter" button on the right-hand side of any catalog record.
