Introduction
This guide is intended to give students in ARKEO 4755 a walkthrough on how to start creating an "un-essay" for their final project. An un-essay is an alternative to the traditional written essay that allows students to explore different modalities of knowledge, expression, and publication. This guide includes:
- Sample projects, for inspiration
- Information about the CARE Principles of data, written by the Global Indigenous Data Alliance.
- Information about metadata (what is it, how to write it, and how to use it)
- Additional resources for thinking about DH and public-facing digital scholarship
