Starting from the library homepage
The search on the library homepage will search the library catalog along with other resources.Enter a few keywords from your question and use the drop-down menu to select catalog.
You can also scroll down to the bottom of the library homepage to find a direct link to the catalog.
Basic search in the library catalog
Enter some keywords to search "All Fields" or use the drop-down menu to search by Title, Journal Title, Author, Subject, and more. From the list of results, you can also limit your search by format.
Advanced Search in the Library Catalog
In the Advanced Search, you can use the drop-down menus for more dynamic searching. Select [any] from the drop-down menu to search alternate terms, e.g., atomic or nuclear.

To find LC Subject Headings, start with a keyword search. Follow the subject heading links, or copy and paste the subject heading into a search and select Subject Browse.
