- Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR)Archive of studies & numeric data files covering a wide range of social science and health research. Most data downloads include SPSS, SAS, R, and Stata setup files. Downloads require free account registration.
Access to ICPSR is limited Cornell students, faculty, and staff and requires a free account for dataset downloads. You will need basic statistical skills for using the online analysis system and more advanced skills for running your own analysis, although R, SAS, SPSS, and Stata setup files are provided with many ICPSR datasets.
To set up a user account: Use proxy URL to start http://resolver.library.cornell.edu/misc/3348291
- Login with NetID
- On ICPSR homepage, click Log In/Create Account
- Under New User, click on Create Account button
- Fill out the user profile - use your CORNELL email
To access in the future: https://www.icpsr.umich.edu/ and log in with your profile
