The Correlates of War Project was founded in 1963. The original and continuing goal of the project has been the systematic accumulation of scientific knowledge about war.

The Uppsala Conflict Data Program (UCDP) has recorded ongoing violent conflicts since the 1970s. Covers more than 400 organizations;

Is available as weighted indicators or ranked measures.
