  • Add two articles from JStor
  • Add two citations with attached PDFs from Academic Search Premier or another Ebsco database such as MLA International Bibliography, Historical Abstracts, American History and Life, etc.
  • Add two citations without attached PDFs from Academic Search Premier or another Ebsco database such as MLA International Bibliography, Historical Abstracts, American History and Life, etc. Use “Get it Cornell” to track down a PDF to add it.
  • Additional: Practice with other databases (discover databases using Subject Guides in your discipline)

3: Sync and Storage

  • Find PDFs on your computer and drag & drop 3-5 at a time into Zotero
    • Manually create citations for those PDFs if necessary by right click --> “create a parent item”
    • Correct mistakes in citations and/or create citations
  • Set up Zotero Sync or use Linked File Attachments for a Cloud Service
