What can the CCSS do for you?

Cornell Center for Social Sciences Logo

CCSS Computing & Data Services provides a range of support, technology, and collaboration in our focus areas of data services, consulting, and training for social science researchers at Cornell. We assist with advanced data support, including data discovery and use, research data management practices, statistical software training, and project team support.

Data and Reproduction Archive

CCSS hosts a CoreTrustSeal-certified Data & Reproduction Archive started by the former Cornell Institute for Social and Economic Research (CISER) in 1982. This extensive data collection emphasizes labor, political and social behavior, demography, economics, and health. The collection includes federal and state census files, administrative records, public opinion surveys, economic and social data from national and international organizations, and studies compiled by individual researchers.

You can conduct a multi-faceted search here or explore the collection here. Contact socialsciences@cornell.edu with questions or suggestions for new data or if you would like to deposit your own data.
