About the United States Code

The United States Code (USC or U.S.C.)  is the codification by subject matter of the general and permanent laws of the United States. It is divided by broad subjects into 53 titles.

Note: The Government Publishing Office posts the Code online via Govinfo.gov with the following disclaimer:
