Some tips and tricks for customizing your libguides with Cascading Style Sheet coding.

Entering CSS

This libguide is intended to assist authors who wish to change some of the default displays that come with LibGuides2. It's assumed that users will have some basic knowledge of CSS coding. The suggestions that follow are not presented as being definitive or as the best way to achieve a given outcome, but for one LibGuides author, at least, they appear to work.


CSS (and Javascript) code can be entered at the individual guide level by clicking on the "Guide Layout" icon (2nd from the left, next to the "gear") in the editing bar that appears in the upper right of the screen, and then clicking on "Guide Custom JS/CSS":
