Getting Started

Welcome to the research guide for Food Science. In addition to subscribing to many premier bibliographic databases, Cornell University Library collects books and periodicals in the field of food science to support the research, teaching, and outreach performed by members of the Cornell Department of Food Science and Cornell AgriTech (formerly the New York State Agricultural Experiment Station) in Geneva. As a land grant library, we also support the research needs of citizens of New York, particularly in the area of food science known as enology, or the study of wines and wine making.

Most of the print materials collected by Cornell University Library in the area of food science are housed on the 3rd floor of Mann Library. Both print and electronic resources can be found using Cornell's library catalog.

Please use the tabs along the top to navigate through this research guide, and feel welcome to contact the Mann Library Reference Desk (607-255-5406; mann-ref@cornell.edu) with any questions that you may have.
