APUSH Final Project

Places in American History

Choose a specific place from American history and describe one or a series of events that took place there.  Your paper will include:

  • A description of the place, its original purpose, changes that occurred, etc.
  • A description of a famous event(s) that took place there; or maybe just everyday events that occurred there
  • A full bibliography
 

Research Assignment

Goals for your Library visit:

1.  Find an encyclopedia article on your place.

2.  Find two books on your topic.

3.  Find  two articles from journals, magazines, and newspapers.

4.  Find two images of your place. (One past/one present.)

5.  Find web sites that cover your topic or place.
