What is RSS?

See live examples at left. RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication".  An RSS feed (also known as an XML or news feed) is a listing of a Web site's content to which you subscribe using an RSS or news reader.  It is updated whenever new content is published to the site. If you see an RSS icon you can copy/paste it into your news reader. Google Reader is an example of an easy-to-use news reader.
