Go to Bloomberg>Fundamental Analaysis

enter the tickers cat, dell, ge

click next

drill down into valuation and select historical stock value Valuation>Historical Stock Value

click next

Select Reverse Chronological for Display Order

Most Recent for Filing Status

USD for Currency (although all these companies are US companies so this step is unnescsary and you can leave it at Security default)

Select Quarterly for Periodicity

Select Relative time series

Go back 40 periods

Click Finish  Notice that each security is placed in its own workbook.

In Excel, from the top menubar, go to Bloomberg > Help to see the Help documentation for more assistance in using the API.
