Requesting Material
If we do not have a BOOK, or if the book is already checked out:
Borrow Direct
Borrow books from our partner Ivy League universities. We will have it shipped to Cornell. Borrowing period is one month. Books arrive in 4 business days. (BOOKS only).
If we don't own an item (any item -- journal article, DVD, dissertation, etc.):
If Cornell Library does not have an item you need, use Interlibrary Loan to request that we borrow it from other libraries.
Finding Books
- Includes the holdings of 19 Cornell University libraries.
- Contains records for books, DVD's/videos, sound recordings, magazines/newspapers/journals, computer files, government documents, manuscripts and archives, maps, scores, and more.

Submit a recommended book
Submit a book you find in the library catalog. Copy the title of the book into the title field, the shortcut link into the link field and the call number of the book into the description field.
