How to create a list in Bigdough

The process of creating a list of companies to target is similar in all of the databases listed on this page. It usually involves limiting your companies by industry and location. You may also be able to limit your search even further by size, revenues, or by using keywords.

In this example we will create a list of buy-side staff in the Philadelphia metropolitan region who are Cornell alumni.

  1. Access BigDough from the Management Library website.
  2. Under Search, mouse over Staff.  In this example, select Buy Side.
  3. Select the North American Investment Center in which you are interested.  In this case, Philadelphia, PA/Wilmington, DE.
  4. Type Cornell as your Keyword Search.
  5. Click the Get Results link at the bottom of the page.
