Finding Articles in Journals and Newspapers
The Cornell library subscribes to thousands of publications - including newspapers, magazines, trade publications, and academic journals - through a variety of full-text article databases. If you are looking for articles on a particular topic, start with one of the article databases listed below. If you are looking for electronic access to a specific publication (i.e. Wall Street Journal), search for the publication by title in Find e-Journals.

- Food Science and Technology AbstractsProvides access to abstracts of the world's food science, food technology, and food-related human nutrition literature. Coverage is 1969 to date and includes journals, patents, books, conference proceedings, reports, theses, standards and legislation. Web of Science interface.
- AGRICOLAProduced by the National Agricultural Library, AGRICOLA (AGRICultural OnLine Access) contains bibliographic records of materials acquired by the National Agricultural Library and cooperating institutions in agricultural and related sciences. The catalog provides citations to books, serials, pamphlets, government documents, research reports, FAO and USDA publications, conference proceedings, and translations, patents, audiovisuals and technical reports. The article database provides citations to journal articles, book chapters, reports and reprints. Coverage is from 1970 to the present and encompasses many disciplines such as agriculture, animal science, food science, life sciences, pesticides, plant science and rural sociology. Ebsco interface.
- CAB AbstractsCAB Abstracts covers the significant research and development literature in the broad fields of agriculture, food science, horticulture, natural resources and veterinary medicine, as well as many narrower disciplines. Includes journal articles, working papers and bulletins. Web of Science interface.
- Hospitality and Tourism CompleteFull-text access to scholarly research and industry news focused on hospitality and tourism, including more than 820 publications from journals, country and company reports, and books.
- Business Source CompleteBusiness Source Complete provides full text for scholarly business journals and other sources, including full text for more than 1,800 peer-reviewed business publications. Coverage includes virtually all subject areas related to business. This database provides full text (PDF) for top scholarly journals, including the Harvard Business Review. It also includes industry and country reports from Euromonitor and company and industry reports from Datamonitor.
- FactivaFull-text online service for international news and business information. Covers over 28,000 sources in 23 languages in more than 150 countries. Some company and market research is included. Factiva includes full-text coverage of the Wall Street Journal.
- ABI/InformABI/Inform, an extensive international business and management database, contains bibliographic citations, abstracts, and full text of articles appearing in professional publications, academic journals, and trade magazines published worldwide. ABI/Inform covers the areas of accounting, banking, computers, economics, engineering management, communications, finance, health care, human resources, insurance, international trends, law, management, marketing, public administration, real estate, taxation, transportation.
