When you're working with Excel on the public computers in Olin and Uris, you might run into problems using standard keyboard shortcuts in a spreadsheet. There's a conflict between those shortcuts and providing access to the Chinese language keyboard in Windows. You can improve your experience if you frequently use these shortcuts by removing that keyboard.
BEFORE you open Excel, look for the "EN" icon in the system tray., right-click on the icon, and choose "Settings":
Click on "Chinese" then "Remove" and "Ok."
This should allow you to use standard keyboard shortcuts in Excel.
