To find assistance in locating materials relevant to your discipline, try contacting the appropriate subject librarian.
The Library's physical and digital collections are administered by a team of subject librarians — also called selectors or bibliographers — who make purchase decisions in consultation with Cornell scholars. Subject librarians can locate existing materials, purchase new ones, give library instruction for classes in their disciplines, and give reference help for your research
One thing to keep in mind: Subject librarians are librarians, not necessarily consultants or scholars themselves. If you have an in-depth question about a topic, it may be worthwhile to speak to your instructor or academic advisor.
