Caveats: There is no Zotero plugin for Scrivener. The Zotero plugin In MS Word or Open Office allows for more functionality and power. What that means is you may encounter challenges in Scrivener when you want to move a footnote, change/edit it, or have very complex footnotes. Because of this, many academics manually type their footnotes in Scrivener and use Zotero to keep track of material and to create the bibliography.
