Individual Online Subscriptions Available to Cornell Students, Faculty, and Staff

Cornell University Library provides students, faculty, and staff individual, online subscriptions to the resources described below.  This requires use of your Cornell email address.  Additionally, topical email alerts are available for each subscription.  Please contact Peter Hook in the Law Library (peter.hook@cornell.edu) if you have any questions.  

Financial Times – (U.K. based global and financial, daily newspaper).  To register use this link: http://resolver.library.cornell.edu/misc/8625023.  Click on “Subscribe” in the upper right corner and follow the instructions. 

Law.com  –  (publications such as: The American Lawyer, The National Law Journal, New York Law Journal, Supreme Court Brief, etc.)  Content can be accessed on campus and remotely using http://resolver.library.cornell.edu/misc/10797523.  To sign up for topical email alerts, contact Peter Hook in the Law Library for the Law.com registration link.  Use this link to create a username and password that is associated with Cornell's subscription.  Afterwards, go to “My Account” and click on “Newsletters Subscriptions.”  

New York Times – Sometime in late August or early September, all Cornell Law students, faculty, and staff will receive in their Cornell email Inbox an invitation to register for online access to the New York Times.  (Please remember to also look in your Junk email folder.)  Access includes: NYTimes.com, NYTimes smartphone app, and NYTimes tablet app.  These invitations do not expire and can be used up until the time that the next year’s invitations are sent.  If you are already paying for online access to the New York Times using your Cornell email address, you will have to contact them and cancel your subscription BEFORE registering the Law Library provided access: customercar@nytimes.com or (800) 591-9233. (Cornell Law School Students, Faculty, and Staff only).

Wall Street Journal – To obtain access, go to https://partner.wsj.com/partner/cornelluniversity and follow the instructions.  If you are already paying for online access to the Wall Street Journal using your Cornell email address, you will have to contact them and cancel your subscription BEFORE registering the Cornell provided access. (1-800-JOURNAL and ask for a member of the Educational Services Team).
