Hathi Trust: mining this rich textual resource

HathiTrust is an online library of approximately 11 million digitized books and a growing partnership of 85+ colleges and universities. All books in HathiTrust can be searched in full text;  books in the public domain can be viewed in full online.  Cornell users who log in with a Cornell netid can download books in full text and create personal collections in the online environment.
The Digital Scholarship & Preservation Services program at Cornell University Library consults with Cornell researchers interested in text analysis and visualization of the HathiTrust corpus, and facilitates collaborations with information science experts in text analysis projects.
(The HathiTrust Research Center is a separate collaboration of the University of Indiana and the University of Illinois that allows for computational access and scholarly collaborations using the books available through HathiTrust.)
