How to find the full-text of SAE citations
We have a subscription to SAE Mobilus online, which includes SAE technical papers from 1980 to the present.
We also have other, earlier SAE technical papers in hardcopy or microfiche, as follows:
- 1908 - 1964 (missing part of 1924), in the Library Annex.
- SAE Transactions
- 1947-1952,
- SAE Quarterly Transactions and/or Preprints from SAE Transactions, both at the Library Annex
- at the Library Annex
In addition,SAE J-series ground vehicle standards are located in the SAE Handbook. The print set (2005) is located in Uris Library Reference, TL 151 .S67. A CD dated 2009 is in the Engineering Librarian's office. Contact the engineering librarians for an email of a particular standard.

2002 - onwards - issued as part of conference proceedings volumes, such as ASME International Mechanical Engineering Conference and Exposition. UseGoogle Scholar and Compendexto find publication numbers, then search the Library Catalog
