Physics Graduate Student Orientation: Resources at CUL

Getting Started at the CU Library

Find Articles

Get to know your databases.  See the Physical Sciences Library site for a list of Physics and Astronomy Databases, including Web of Science, arXiv, INSPEC, and more.

Find Journals

There are a few ways to locate journals:

  • Search the CUL Catalog for print and electronic journals
  • Electronic journals are also listed on the e-journals list
  • Selected list of e-journals in the physical sciences on PSL site

What's the Annex?

Many older journals and books are located in the library Annex, a storage facility on campus. You have three options:

  1. If you need an article, get it scanned for free. You will be emailed when your pdf is available. This generally takes less than two working days. Document Delivery
  2. Items may also be delivered to any library on campus. This generally takes two working days.
  3. If you're in a rush, you may also visit the Annex reading room
