Moving to a new country often means learning a new language. 

Culture Shock

Everyone encountering a new environment will experience culture shock.  Not speaking the same language, learning new customs and finding the grocery store are all stressors that we face when moving to another country.  Be sure to familiarize yourself with the cycle of culture shock and some means by which to fight the symptoms by looking through the resources below.

Going Global Guides

From the Guides: Each of the Going Global Country Career Guides has been prepared by a team of professionals, utilizing the expertise of around the world.  Because several people contribute to each Guide, and the differences in research material available for specific countries, the Guides contain various levels of detail and emphasis.

Going Global guides can be accessed via ProQuest Direct. Select the Publications tab > Search for "Going Global".  From the results page, you can select which of the 23 countries you'd like to learn more about.
