Getting Started with Research

This guide contains select print and electronic resources for scientific topics, in particular peer-reviewed scholarly sources rather than popular or secondary sources.

For this class you'll practice finding peer-reviewed scientific research articles on your research topic, such as prenatal choline supplementation.

By the end of this class you'll be able to:

  • Understand the sources for scholarly resources at Cornell University Library
  • Search article databases and retrieve highly cited peer-reviewed scholarly articles and the articles that cite them easily and efficiently
  • Know when to use library services in order to get help in the research process
